Every chat is encrypted on the devices. A new device can read history only with the recovery key you keep.

An account is a name and a password. Your address book stays on your phone.

Pictures travel in the same encrypted chat. The server carries them; it does not open them.

Your account can talk to Element and to any Matrix server. The other person does not have to use Yurop Messenger.

Create an account
Choose a name and a password. That name is how people find you on Yurop Messenger.

Invite someone
Start a private chat with their Yurop Messenger name, or with their id on another Matrix server. They accept, and the room is encrypted.

Messages and photos stay between the people in the chat. Keep the recovery key if you change device.
